Who wouldn't want to be forever young? I know I would.
If I had known what I know now when I was young maybe things would have been different. I would have spared myself heartache, betrayal and disappointment. However the naiive old me wouldn't have learnt so much about people, relationships and life. I wouldn't have become who I am now, older and wiser.
Nevertheless I always ponder on what it would be like if I were young forever. It's true "Youth is like diamonds in the sun and diamonds are forever". The sky is the limit to do what you want, be who you want and live care free. Although I'm young yet sometimes I feel that my soul has aged, but I try to keep my young spirit alive and in control.
A friend of mine told me once that he'd like to die young, I have a feeling that I will die young.
I loved watching The O.C and loved the characters a lot, especially Ryan and Marissa, and I believe that song best describes them both. "Forever young" Alphaville

I never thought I'd live to see 30, but I'll be 30 in a few months. When I was younger I couldn't see life that far ahead so I lived recklessly, now that I'm a little older I'm paying for that. But I don't want to die young, I want a chance to live a long life and live it right and start anew and leave behind a legacy when I die, insha Allah. I hope I get that chance to do something good and start a new life after 30 have a family and live to see my grandchildren.

ReplyDeleteWe all want to leave a good legacy behind us and of course nobody wants to die, whether young or old, but death is inevitable.
Insha'Allah you'll have a chance to fulfill all what you wish for as long as you work hard for it.
